PEC Subpixel Averaging

subpixel.pec: Subpixel method applied to PEC interfaces.

• Options:
  • PECConformal (opens new window): Apply conformal PEC subpixel averaging.
  • HeuristicPECStaircasing (opens new window): Set the electric-field grid to PEC when the field is substantially parallel to the interface.
  • Staircasing (opens new window): Use staircased material assignment on structure boundaries.
• Default: PECConformal (opens new window)

subpixel.pec.timestep_reduction: Reduction factor applied to the simulation time step when the conformal PEC model is used.

• Type: floating-point number
• Constraint: greater than or equal to 0 and less than 1
• Default: 0.3

subpixel.pec.edge_singularity_correction: Toggle edge singularity correction for PEC interfaces.

• Type: Boolean
• Default: False
